Majed Khater brings over 30 years of experience that spans the early days of GIS use at airports, the innovations of today, and the expectations for tomorrow. Majed built this experience from developing, managing, and improving the GIS program for Las Vegas (LAS) airport which has been on the forefront of the industry for many years. It further includes the strategic planning and rollout of a program for Abu Dhabi (AUH) airport. Majed has a background in facilities management, architectural engineering, and urban planning, and he has demonstrated project management success identifying and addressing deficits in GIS development and related systems integration. He is also an adept facilities and asset analyst and manager, effective negotiator and consensus-builder, active technical researcher and innovator, articulate college professor and presenter, and ardent business and professional alliance promoter.
