Barich, Inc. at Toronto-Pearson International Airport

As part of the overall Airport Vision, the GTAA’s Information Technology Management group (ITM) is pursuing the opportunity of better utilizing common use technology to support the GTAA’s vision of Toronto-Pearson International Airport becoming a true global hub airport. A key component of this initiative is for the GTAA to move from the current CUTE technology standard for check-in and gate counters to the more current CUPPS standard.

Beginning in August 2011, Barich, Inc. Barich, Inc. developed the common use Business Case and assisted in the Request for Proposal (RFP) package development for this project, which resulted in the awarding of the Vendor Evulation and Implementation Overview services to be performed throughout 2012 leading into the 3rd quarter of 2013.

Common Use Business Case & RFP Development

Barich, Inc. provided consulting support in preparing a common use Business Case as a basis for the development of an RFP package, which Barich, Inc. after having been retained, developed in addition to the Business Case.

CU Vendor Evaluation/ Implementation Oversight

Barich, Inc. was rewarded this project and has started to provide consulting services relating to vendor evaluations and CU system implementation oversight for the GTAA's Common Use system initiative.
