Terminal 2 (Westside) - 90% Design Review

Project Summary:

The Terminal Development Program (also known as the "Green Build") at San Diego International Airport involves the construction of a 3-story, 10-gate expansion of the existing Terminal 2 West and includes two major components:

1) Terminal Project: The terminal project includes a ticketing lobby, airline check-in, security screening, baggage handling system, seating and concession areas, support areas, support spaces, and the remodeling of certain existing spaces.

2) Airside Project: The airside project includes the expansion of the airfield apron with new 'remain overnight' parking positions for aircraft and the construction of a waste disposal facility.

In support of this project, Barich, Inc. is performing design reviews of the 90% designs from the Security and Special Systems Contractors. The systems reviewed include: Paging System, EVIDS, BSM, Master Clock, AODB, RMS, IB, LDCS, CUPPS, CUSS, PDS, LAN, WLAN, VoIP, CATV, Building Management, Access Control, CCTV, Breach Management, and PIDS. As part of this project, Barich, Inc. participates in various on-site page turning sessions and other project-related discussions.

This project is on time and in the budget set, with an expected completion during the second quarter of 2012.
