Project Summary:

Barich, Inc. was contracted to provide consulting and documentation development services related to the review and update of a previously completed Design Narrative for SFO’s Terminal 2 – Boarding Area D – Renovation project. The update was delivered on April 16, 2008. Based on the success of this update, Barich, Inc. was retained to gather and document more detailed business requirements to describe the related features and functionality. The final Business Requirements document was delivered August 1, 2008.

Additional work for this project included continuous Design Narrative updates throughout the design process based on feedback from all parties involved. Barich, Inc. also reviewed Schematic Design, and Design Development drawings and specification documents, and acted as the coordinator and reviewer of stakeholder comments to these deliverables. In addition, Barich, Inc. acted as a liaison between the Construction team and ITT to ensure that their participation in the project met the requirements of the project. Finally, Barich, Inc. facilitated, collected, and coordinated information required to discuss maintenance agreements for systems in Terminal 2, Boarding Area D.  This work included identifying which systems would use an extension of existing maintenance agreements, and which systems would require new maintenance agreements.

The project was completed in February 2009. Barich, Inc. was further retained to write the Master Test Plan.
