In December of 2007, Barich was engaged by the Pflugerville Independent School District to conduct a Technology Support Structure Assessment for the District-Level Departments and the Internal Technology Department. The project included:

• the identification of the current status;
• an assessment of the Technology Department's organizational structure, planning methodology, management methodology, and support methodology;
• development of a needs analysis including the identification of the actual technology support needs and deficiencies within the current status as it applies to the vision, goals, and objectives of the District; and
• development of a recommendation report.
