Industry Research (TRB/ACRP)

The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) is an industry-driven, applied research program that develops near-term, practical solutions to problems faced by airport operators. ACRP is managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies and sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Additional information can be found on the TRB website.  The research is conducted by contractors who are selected on the basis of competitive proposals.  Barich, Inc. has been selected on multiple occasions to produce a variety of different types of research reports & tools for the TRB's ACRP. While conducting research projects for the ACRP, Barich, Inc. staff also participate as Panel Members, helping to guide other ACRP initiatives, including:  ACRP 10-08: “Applying Intelligent Transportation Systems to Improve Airport Traveler Access Information”;  ACRP 01-12 “A Primer for Information Technology Systems at Airports”; and ACRP 11-05 “Project Dissemination Panel”.
